The Bestbuys Store

Established in 1983, Bestbuys in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, quickly became the place to go for buying camping equipment and garden furniture. To this day, these are still the two main areas of interest, but along with an expanded range of products, the original four-strong team has risen to more than 30. In 1991 the company re-located from Irthlingborough Road to much larger premises on The Embankment and now it prides itself as being the county's premier supplier of outdoor leisure goods.
With flexible buying power, Bestbuys always offers the latest trends in the leisure goods market, come winter or summer.
During the winter, ski wear and equipment is to the fore. Among our customers are many local schools - the company supplying the items they need for their organised trips.
In summer, the displays reflect the outdoor life with the camping and backpacking sections continually growing.
Bestbuys also stocks the very latest tents from leading suppliers such as Vango and Coleman. From 1 person adventure/expedition tents to family tents, we can offer a wide range to suit all budgets.
For those who want enjoy the comforts of home outdoors, Bestbuys stocks a wide range of garden furniture. Each year more than 30 patio sets are put on display, along with gas and charcoal barbecues, and above ground swimming pools that range in size from small inflatable paddling pools to 5.5 metre metal framed pools.
Ventures into new territories have given the company further success. The introduction of spas in 2002 formed a very important addition to the company's range of products. In the first year we sold and installed 100 hot tubs and now, with more than 400 sales, Bestbuys has become one of the area's leading hot tub/spa retailers.
More recently, Bestbuys has launched its own website - www.best-buys.co.uk - which aims to provide the same high-level of service on-line that visitors to the store have always enjoyed. The site is updated everyday to ensure that the very latest stocks and offers are available to all, and together with on-line auction company Ebay, we were proud to be awarded Power Seller status within weeks of trading.
